I look to my left. Empty space once occupied by a dream. The ghost of a small fraction of my time is haunting me. I’d rather look for comfort in that spirit than exercise the memory completely. Why would you wash away a light the shines so bright even if it only last for a brief moment.
I find comfort in the smile created by the sliver occupying that space in my time. For any brush of happyness couldn’t truly be a waste.
The product of the pebble thrown is a ripple that may travel the length of on ocean. Surely I am drowning in an abandoned sea but I’ll ride that wave back to sure as I’m given breath by such a beautiful soul.
The impact of motivation, the inspiration for change alone is a testament to the power of such a tiny stone.
